Walking about Cavtat's Rat (video below) or Sustjepan peninsula is bound to leave you refreshed and in awe as it affords beautiful views toward the whole of Dubrovnik's coastal area and out to the Adriatic.

Cycling or Walking in Konavle

About scuba-diving in Cavtat. Next to the small islands of Cavtat Mrkan, Bobara and Supetar you can find some antique places of discovery, the biggest and most attractive in the Adriatic Sea, ranking among the biggest ones in the Mediterranean. There are at least two places in Cavtat offering organized expeditions and rental scuba gear.

About the bicycling route through Konavle.
The route is circular, combination of asphalt and gravel surface. It is 25km long with the total uphill slope of 270m. The lowest point on the route is 60m, the highest 188m. It takes approximately 2 hours of cycling to complete it. It is marked with bicycling signalization, and favorable for trekking and mountain bikes. The starting point is in the village of Čilipi's main square. You can pick up the most recent free brochure featuring the detailed map and info at the main tourist office in Cavtat.

About the footway through Konavle. Starting in Cavtat go toward Močići. This takes about an hour and affords stunning scenery with the Adriatic on your right along the way. Add anothere hour of walking time or so if you continue to the next village of Čilipi. There are small trails going accross fields and woodlands along the way should you feel you'd like to explore a bit. Konavle is one of the most accessible and beautiful natural areas in vicinity and, if you like being in nature, you'd be very glad to have explored it. You can pick up the most recent free brochure featuring the detailed map and info at the main tourist office in Cavtat.

Of course, you could always choose to swim or play waterpolo in the Bay of Cavtat, go underwater spear-fishing, paragliding, wave-riding, boating or wind-surfing, you could  play some tennis, or simply jogg or stroll around Cavtat's beautiful penninsulas.

Go Horseback Riding, or on an ATV / Jeep Safari in Konavle

Kojan Koral's small but beautiful and well-maintained facility is located in the village of Popovići.  It offers horseback riding school, therapeutical rides, recreational trail rides as well as ATV safaries.

Visit Lokrum

Lokrum is a botanical garden right off the port of Dubrovnik's old town and connected by an inexpensive and frequent boatline. It takes up to 15 minutes to reach the island from the old town's port.

Visit the Elafiti Archipelago

Elafiti is an archipelago northwest of Dubrovnik and easily reachable by frequenty ferry.
